Job Description: This role will support our exams team for a period of maternity cover, working three days a week for up to a year. Main purpose of the role To provide a comprehensive service to all internal and external customers to the Petroc Examinations Office. To assist the Examinations Manager in matters relating to the administration of vocational qualifications, results and certification in the college. Key tasks and responsibilities To receive and assist all internal and external customers in person, by phone, email or letter as appropriate. Assist the Examinations Manager to provide administrative support relating to all vocational qualifications, to include registrations, certification claims and ordering of examination material. Liaise with staff to schedule online assessments, and produce associated paperwork. Keep up to date with developments in online testing systems and procedures. Ensure online testing software is maintained and updated in liaison with IT services. Assist in the maintenance of the online calendar, make room bookings and arrangements for learners with access arrangements. Assist with data entry of results on to College Information System. Assist with the follow up of non-achievements. Assist with providing information for audit as required. Assist the Examinations Manager during busy examination sessions when required. Undertake daily rota duties on allocated day. Processing orders and invoices and entering data onto the budget monitoring database. Undertake invigilation duties as required both in groups and 1:1, and deal with issues as they arise. To attend training and meetings as deemed appropriate to the job role and provide secretarial and hospitality support where required. Willingness to undertake training to improve skills base and adapt to changing circumstances. Willingness to work across sites.
